Abstract:<\/strong> As NAND flash density continues to double, it is becoming increasingly important that SSDs can be shared across multiple applications or hosts without impacting read QoS. In a Hyperscale environment, it is critical to provide all applications with the right ratio of compute to flash capacity while maintaining tight read latency distributions. To achieve these goals, NVMe SSDs need to work collaboratively with host applications.<\/p>\n

Bio:<\/strong> Chris Petersen is a Hardware Systems Technologist leading flash and non-volatile memory solutions at Facebook. He is also a board member of NVM Express, Inc. Chris has a BS and MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University. He has been granted half a dozen patents.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n
