It is with deep regret that the NVMW organization committee decides to cancel NVMW 2020 over public health concerns surrounding the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). We apologize for this inconvenience, however, we want to make sure we do not contribute to the stress and spread of the virus.

Please wait for our staff to be in touch with you in order to arrange for a full refund of your registration fees in the coming days. Please call Sheraton to cancel your hotel reservation ASAP in order to avoid fees. We will be in touch with presenters with detail for uploading their slides and a video of their presentation if they wish. Also, please watch your email for the announcement of the recipients of the 2020 Persistent Impact Prize and the 2020 Memorable Paper Award. We will keep updating this website with more information.

NVMW Persistent Impact Prize

Presented By

The NVMW Persistent Impact Prize is awarded annually to a paper published at least five years prior that has had an exceptional impact on the fields of study related to non-volatile memories. The award committee interprets both “impact” and “non-volatile memories” broadly. There is no requirement for the work to have been presented at the NVMW. The award includes a $1000 cash prize.

Nominations are due December 1, 2019 at midnight AoE.

NVMW Memorable Paper Award

Presented By

The NVMW Memorable Paper Award is awarded annually to a student paper published in the last two years that is of exceptional quality and is expected to have a substantial impact on the fields of study related to non-volatile memories. Two awards will be given: One in the area of system architectures and applications and another in the area of devices, coding, and information theory.

Each award includes a $1000 cash prize.
