HiKV: A Hybrid Index Key-Value Store for DRAM-NVM Memory Systems
Abstract: This work presents HiKV, a hybrid index key-value store for hybrid memory systems. HiKV constructs multiple hash indexes and a global B+-Tree index to support both single-key operations and range scan. HiKV carefully designs the updating, concurrency and consistency of hybrid index to utilize the characteristics of hybrid memory. Evaluation results show that HiKV outperforms state-of-art NVM KV stores in micro- and macro- benchmarks.
Bio: Fei Xia is a final year PhD student in Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received the BS degree in computer science and technology at Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China. His research interests include memory and storage systems for non-volatile memories.
